My name is Micaylah Jones and I am a Maryland/Washington, D.C. based digital and traditional artist. My work centers on people of color and representing them through portraiture and illustration. I have had work shown at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and at American University in Washington D.C. In addition to being an artist I am also a writer. My background is in public health and literature. I have experience with creative writing, and health/science writing. And I love bridging the two with my artwork.
